Shh.... it's quiet!

Both my boys are napping. It's peaceful. Except for the cat rolling around on me trying to get me to pet him.





Not right now Thumper. This is mommy time.





Today as been a good day. I got up and showered and ready before Austin woke up... that always makes for a great start to the day.


A friend came over this morning, Claire, with her daughter Dailey. Claire is as sweet as they come, and her daughter is incredibly adorable. I asked Austin if he was ready for a sissy like Dailey and he said no. Uh oh. However, he [kind of] played with her and even shared a train with her, so that's a good sign! :)





This is what Austin was doing after our company left. He pushed the ottoman up so it was touching the entertainment center, and proceeded to watch Dora the Explorer. He thought this was completely normal. Then he decided it would be hilarious if he chewed on his finger for awhile until it got good and slobbery, and stood up and wiped it all over the TV screen. Wow. I don't know about this kid....

Austin has my cumberbun from work when I worked the casino night. He puts it up over his mouth like this and says, "I'm a doctor Mama!" Then leaned over my toes saying "Hmm... Let me see...." He has got such an imagination these days! I love it... just hearing the things that he comes up with now cracks us up. We never know what is going to come out of his mouth.

His new favorite thing is sitting on the counters. Of course, he's only allowed to do it when mommy and/or daddy are in the kitchen with him, but the other day I did find that he climbed up there all on his own.... bad Austin! :)

He's also incredibly addicted to Cinnamon Toast Crunch these days. Every morning he asks for a bowl.

Austin's favorite cartoons (which he has many...) are: Thomas the Tank Engine, Dora the Explorer, Wonder Pets, Little Einstiens, Olivia, Max and Ruby, and The Penguins of Madagascar.

Mommy's least favorite at the moment is Thomas the Train. Which is why mommy has been telling him that it's broken for the last week. I'm so bad. But I'm also soooo sick of watching the dang thing ALLLLLL DAAAAAY LOOOONG! So for now, until further notice, it's broken. :)

Well, I'll wrap this up, Sydney has decided it's a great time to start kicking my bladder, so the bathroom is calling. TOMORROW we will be headed to Boise for our 3D/4D ultrasound of the little bug... I cannot wait. It's at 2pm, so look for pictures tomorrow evening!! YESSSSS!!!!!
