Tired!
Last night was my 2nd night working. It was an ALS graduation. Not as crazy hectic as the Elks Convention which was my first night working.... and actually the biggest event that the club holds each year. Great night to start out on! ha! Anyhow, they said I did a great job that first night, which was good to hear.
So anyways, I went in last night at 4:30 and was home by 11:30, so it wasn't as long as the first night where I was home at 1am. It's a pretty easy job, but it's so tiring. Being on your feet for so long when you're just shy of being 7 months pregnant, it's a lot of work! I wore a pedometer last night from about 6ish to about 10:30. In that amount of time, I walked 3.88 miles. Holy crap! I was shocked to see that! Lots of back and forth, back and forth.
I work with one of my good friends here, Sarah... so it makes it actually fun. We carpool to and from work, as long as we are due in at the same time. And Sue, our boss, knows we're good friends, so she always pairs us together for serving. (We usually have 8-10 tables with about 20-25 people at each one... so you work in pairs.)
It was fun again last night, but I'm tired today! I've been having to get up with Austin during the night to take him pee pee so he doesn't wet the bed... so that is even more tiring! He's doing great though- so it's completely worth it. I got up at 3am with him, and he didn't go, so I got up at 6am with him and he did. When I went in at 6am and woke him up, he told me GOOD MORNING!!! uhhhh... NO! Back to bed you go after you pee, Mister! He did good though, went right back to sleep. And even when he came in my room at 8:45 this morning, I still wasn't ready. I told him to go back to sleep for a few more hours, but he wasn't having that. Dang! :)
So we're up and playing and HE isn't tired! :) You can definitely tell that he spent last night with his daddy though. He's feisty today! :) I did get the report that Austin colored on our walls with color crayons last night though..........
I go in again tonight at 4:30 for Casino night. I'll be cocktail waitressing, so hopefully this means that I'll get some tips! But just from the two nights that I worked so far I've made enough money for our gas money to get to Washington, and back home. YES!!! :)
On another note, I just learned that my Grandma Stevens is in the hospital. Starting yesterday, and then all night, she's been having heart palpitations, racing heart, and tightness in her chest. So this morning, my grandpa, brother, and his girlfriend Jen finally made her go into the hospital. So prayers are MUCH appreciated!
I know this is kind of a boring blog, but just wanted to let ya'll know how the job's going! And also get a prayer request out there for my grandma!

10 for Tuesday
Hopefully with my new blog, I can keep up my blogging fun like I like to :) If I would have thought about it, I would have rolled all these blogs today into one, but I didn't want to surprise you guys by doing something that made sense, so I just decided not to. haha ;)
Here's my Tuesday's list!
1. Austin had his first night time pee-pee accident this morning. I was sound asleep, and I heard his bedroom door shut at 5am. I grabbed his hand to usher him to the bathroom before I put him back in bed, only to realize he'd already wet. DANG! After stripping him, and his bed, he wouldn't go back to sleep without his beloved blankie. That was also wet. So up we were at 5am.
2. Wouldn't you think that a kiddo up at 5am would be tired? Especially when his normal "wake-up" time is around 8:30! No, not this kid. He wanted to play trains and cars all morning.
3. Coffee was my best friend this morning. I had 2 cups. It's half-caff, so it's alright on Sydney. My two cups equals one cup of regular caffinated coffee. But I still feel like I'm getting lots of coffee in my system. Maybe "half-caff" is the reason I'm still tired tonight.
4. Austin went pee pee like boys do today. Granted, it was on his "froggy" potty, but he did it! What a stud he is!
5. Bryant and I re-arranged the living room. I love it. Much cozier now, which is the way I like it. Having it the other way felt like we were sitting 10 miles from the TV and each other as well. Austin seems to like it better too.
6. I feel accomplished today. Not that I really did much, but I had been thinking about making a new blog for awhile now, because I just wasn't happy with not being able to be creative on Shutterfly, and not being able to post pictures IN my blog. So I decided to finally do it, and re-try this blogspot thing. So far, so good. Guess we'll see.
7. I have schedualed a couple appointments in the past couple days. The first one is my regular OB appointment for Sydney. That is on the 30th. And the other that I schedualed we are soooo excited for! It's on the 4th of April, and we're going to be going to Boise to get our 3-D ultrasound of the little bug!! We're so excited to see her in "real" life!
8. My craving lately? Sour Candy. And thanks to Dad Hines, I have an incredible addiction to the Chewy Jolly Rancher Sour candy. He got a bag while here over Thanksgiving, and I've been thinking about them ever since. So I finally gave in, and now my tongue is raw. Ouch. :)
9. Bryant has a mustache this month. I am not a fan. All the guys are doing a theme for each month. This month it's Mustache March. Last month it was Flat Top February. April will be Aviator April, and so on and so forth. I guess they've got to bring variety into the work place huh? I don't know, but I am not a fan of this month! :)
10. Austin won't quit talking about a new train that he's fallen in love with. (Off of his Thomas the Train shows) Her name is Emily. He wants her so bad. So when we were potty training, we told him that if he started being a big boy and could wear underwear, that we would make a trip to Boise and buy him Emily. (They USUALLY have all the trains at Toys R Us.) Well, I took him to Toys R Us last week, and what train didn't they have? You got it! Emily. Oh no. So he settled on a different train, but is still asking for Emily non-stop. Guess we'll be hitting E-Bay up on payday!
Until next time.........

PLEASE.... hang in there!
I enjoy blogging a lot. However, when I previously had a blogger site, it wasn't too neat. It had a LOT of problems, and truly, I hated using it. It frustrated me beyond belief! However, they've changed a lot of things, and I really miss being able to add a picture into my blog.
Yes, Shutterfly is user friendly, very easy for me to use... but not really creative enough for me. I can't change things up like I can on Blogger... which if you know me, you know that I love to change things. My hair. My living room. My outfits. My shoes. My purses/diaper bags. Cameras. (haha!) Everything. I just love to change things. So this should be a good fit now. In Shuttefly I can't add a single picture into my blog that day because it just doesn't allow it. I can do that on Blogger.
Please stick with the family blog! I promise one day an end will be here for me to quit moving our site. I will still use shutterfly to send out pictures to the family, but the blog part will just be in a different area. Hopefully you all don't mind too much! :)
Leave comments... I love comments. I thrive on them. :) It makes me feel good that people are reading my blogs. Let me know what you think of the new blog!
